David served six years on Canton’s Finance Committee, gaining firsthand experience with the town’s complex financial picture — including its large balance sheet, hundreds of funds, fixed obligations, revenue projections, and long-term financial liabilities. He’s ready to bring that expertise to the Select Board and protect taxpayers.
David was nominated to Canton’s Police Audit Committee and served as Vice Chair. He worked to advance a thorough audit of the Police Department’s policies and procedures, with a focus on restoring transparency, accountability, and public trust.
David served one year on Canton’s Capital Planning Committee and helped review capital improvement needs for the Town and schools — including cash capital requests and long-term debt-funded projects — to ensure investments were responsible and cost-effective.
